Description / Features: Designs perforated through Lightblocks Board sandwiched around a Ply or Coloured (Black or Red) core

Composition: 18mm C/D grade EcoPly or 15mm Black or White Resin core bonded to one or two sheets of 3mm Lightblocks Board Metallic. Board. C/D grade ply means that knots and imperfections are inherent in the plywood layers. If a perfect edge is required, either a better grade of ply can be used or holes can be filled using a putty. The putty will be smooth and look fine, but will be noticeable. Contact Baresque for more details.

Sheet Size: 2395mm x 1195mm. Lightblocks Board Colours also available in 3000mm x 1000mm.

Thickness: With ecoply core - double sided - 24mm (18mm core + 2 x 3mm face) - single sided - 21mm (18mm core + 1 x 3mm face) With resin core - double sided - 21mm (15mm core + 2 x 3mm face) - single sided - 18mm (15mm core + 1 x 3mm face)

Additional Comments: The edges of the core cannot be sealed. Also available in single sided. Designs are progressive and the biscuit between panels allows for a virtually seamless join. The cores provide strength while the perforations mean the panels are light weight and able to be handled easily..

Care Instructions

* Use warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge, cloth, or chamois to clean LIGHTBLOCKS

* Surface contamination may be cleaned using kerosene, hexane, or aliphatic naphtha, or any acrylic cleaner, such as Novus. Always follow manufacturer's recommended use and safety procedures.

* Do not use glass cleaning products, acetone, gasoline, benzene, lacquer thinner, chlorinated solvents, gritty abrasive scouring compounds, or alkaline cleaners to clean Lightblocks as damage to the sheet will occur.

* Remove any oily residue left behind from solvent cleaning with detergent and water.

* Do not use squeegee, scraper, or synthetic rags that may scratch LIGHTBLOCKS.

* When cleaning, never scrub LIGHTBLOCKS. Gently wipe surface with a soft scratch free cloth

REFINISHING

* Light refinishing - if there is only a light scratch, refinishing can be achieved by using rubbing the area in a random circular motion with a fine steel scouring pad (Scotch-brite). Test in an inconspicuous area before attempting a main area on the job.

* Heavy refinishing - if there is a deep gouge, LIGHTLBOCKS can be easily refinished using a random orbital sander (Makita 125 or better) and an 80 grit timber working paper. The LIGHTBLOCKS resin coat is then rubbed into the surface and buffed off using a dry, soft cloth.
