In a drive to broaden the business, 1992 saw Baresque launch Crypton into the Australian healthcare market as a new and innovative upholstery fabric. Since then, Crypton has revolutionised the healthcare market becoming an industry standard.
Building on the success of Crypton, Baresque set out to establish a range of fabrics to co-ordinate with its wallcoverings being used in hospitality, commercial, retail and healthcare environments. Baresque's fabrics range now focuses on Commercial and Vinyl Upholsteries as well as FR draperies.

Vinyl Upholsteries - Our collection of commercial quality vinyl upholsteries combines innovation with imagination to set a new industry benchmark. Unique surface textures along with familiar basics, all in a rich assortment of colours, have been brought together to solve your design needs.

Do you need something particularly hard wearing? Baresque have got it with a great range of products already tried and tested in the hardest wearing environments.

Commercial Upholsteries – Most of Baresque’s commercial upholstery range is Crypton which like vinyl, is a total moisture barrier upholstery fabric preventing damage to cushioning but unlike vinyl upholsteries Crypton is breathable meaning heat build up and clamminess are avoided making it ideal for pubs, clubs and healthcare environments where offending liquids can cause fabric damage but customers are sitting for extended periods of time.

Crypton fabrics are engineered to provide:

• Outstanding strength and durability making it suitable for high use commercial environments
• Bacterial Resistance - anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties make it ideal for healthcare
• Ease of Cleaning and Maintenance - most stains can be completely removed with mild soap and water.

Drapery / Bedspreads - Baresque offer an extended range of woven, printed and sheer fabrics that mix and match to co-ordinate with every room. All drapery and bedspread fabrics are inherently fire retardant and meet the Australian Standard AS1530.3 Spread of Flame Index 0 / Smoke Developed Index 5.
